Goldust Talks About WrestleMania 32 And Unveiling The Dusty Rhodes Statue

Goldust recently spoke with Kristi Scales for Sportsday about Wrestlemania 32, and more. Here are the highlights.

On unveiling the Dusty Rhodes statue at Wrestlemania Axxess:

“My brother, Cody, and myself unveil a statue of my dad (the late Dusty Rhodes, former WWE Hall of Famer and NWA world champion). So that’s really cool. He passed last June and it’s been tough for us, but we’re persevering.”

On Wrestlemania being WWE’s Super Bowl:

“This is our Super Bowl. You take the Super Bowl and you have all the shows, the half time show, and the week-long events like the NFL Experience. WWE does the same thing. This is our show. This is our time to put on the biggest and best matches that we have and all the stuff that comes with it. That includes the backstage segments, the entertainment segments, the funny things, the songs and music. Everything is big. And this will be our biggest WrestleMania to date with 100,000-plus people. It’s going to be unreal.”
