Why The Hardys aren’t working WWE Live Events this weekend, Mick Foley surgery update, Jinder Mahal on title shot

– Part of The Hardys’ new deal with WWE is that they can fulfil their independent bookings that they have left on their calendars. That’s exactly what they won’t be working WWE Live Events this weekend, as Matt and Jeff will be working a couple of House Of Hardcore events.

Matt is scheduled to face Tommy Dreamer at tomorrow’s (Fri. April 21, 2017) HOH from Metuchen, NJ, while The Hardys will team up against Dreamer and Bully Ray for HOH in Philadelphia, PA the next night. For more information on those appearances click here.

– Now that he has health insurance again, WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley was finally able to get a long-needed hip surgery. Foley posted the following on Twitter, along with his daughter Noelle, from the hospital:

– After winning the Six Pack challenge on Tuesday’s (April 18, 2017) episode of SmackDown Live, Jinder Mahal took to Instagram to comment on becoming the new No. 1-contender for the WWE Title:

“#tbt to Tuesday night on #SmackDownLive when I became the #1Contender to The WWE Championship. Hate it or love it, I can not be denied. I am coming for the crown. #JustAReminder #wwe”
