According to a report from F4WOnline, The Hardys’ new deal with Ring Of Honor (ROH) is a long-term one per the Wrestling Oberver Radio’s Dave Meltzer:
“They’re not going to WWE anytime soon. I do not know the length of the [ROH] deal, but it’s not a two month deal,” Meltzer said. “They’re there [in ROH].”
It was also noted that The Hardys have begun taking independent dates once again, as they stopped taking bookings because they feared they wouldn’t be able to fulfill them had they signed with WWE.
Despite this report, ‘Broken’ Matt Hardy took to Twitter to send a warning to WWE RAW Tag Team Champs Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson telling the Bullet Club members that he and Brother Nero are eying their gold straps as well:
