Hawkins Wants a Match on RAW, YB’s Use WWE Drama in PWG, WWE Stock, Finlay

– Former WWE Superstar Finlay made his debut for the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla promotion last night, losing to Kevin Steen in a first round Battle of Los Angeles tournament match.

 


 

– Also at the PWG show last night, The Young Bucks not shaking hands at their WWE tryout was turned into a storyline. Before his tag team match with Scorpio Sky, Joey Ryan (both got WWE tryouts last week) cut a promo about Mark Henry scaring him at SummerSlam and the YB’s not shaking hands. After the match, The Young Bucks ran out and talked about not shaking hands. This brought out the Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) who challenged them to a match. The YB’s later defended their PWG Tag Team Titles against Castagnoli and Hero.

– WWE stock closed at $8.82 per share on Friday after hitting a new 52-week low of $8.75 per share during the day. On Friday, WWE stock was down 3.0% compared to Thursday. The overall stock market was down 1.60%.

– Curt Hawkins wrote on his Twitter that he has made a decision not to trim his beard until WWE puts him in a match on RAW.
