Hell In a Cell Main Event, Backstage News on Ryback, More

– WWE’s shop website is now selling the “Long Live The King” shirt for Jerry Lawler that Michael Cole wore on last night’s RAW. They are also selling new Superstar Lifetile necklaces and the 2013 WWE wall calendar with CM Punk, John Cena and Randy Orton on the cover.

– In an update from last night’s RAW, the fan who was accidentally thrown the live microphone by Ryback was not ejected by security. As noted before, Ryback threw the mic into the crowd when he was tearing up MizTV. The fan grabbed the mic and began yelling “Goldberg!” before WWE’s ring crew chased him down and took it back.

– John Cena vs. CM Punk for the WWE Title is scheduled to main event next month’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.

– Word is that Vince McMahon recently made the call to take Ryback’s character to the next level. By what happened on RAW last night, it looks like he may be headed for a feud with Intercontinental Champion The Miz.

Exactly my point sir. Vince is profiting from a tragic situation.

I never said WWE sent/didn’t send profits too the Guerrero family? the point is

The armbands was to solely a sign of respect for Eddie ( Over here in England we do the same when “soccer” players die, black armbands )

These t-shirts for Jerry are for WWE’s benefit only.

  • wf3458

Wrong Tyler. There were no profits going to the Gurrerreo family. That why Vickie work for WWE

The armbands was completely different, these t-shirts are for profits, whereas the armbands was for remembering Eddie.

I can’t believe Cena’s Rise Above Cancer merchandise is now his new gear, as in, he’s going to wear it for awhile. The idea is cool, but not for more than a few special occasions. Even his titantron & minitron have the pink logos now! Why not let guys like Ziggler or CM Punk continue to wear their pink attires if WWE cares so much about the cancer fund? Just another ploy for Linda to make WWE look “good”. Shame, too. An abuse of power, I say.

I can just imagine the scene last week, Vince is in his office talking with whoever, someone bursts in,

WWE Employee ”excuse me Mr McMahon but we just received word that Jerry is going to be ok”

Vince ”Don’t just stand there dammit, get some t-shirts made up now!”

Yep that true nature of the Mcmahon family. Not the first time WWE profit from tragedy, remember the EG armbands. And I bet all the profits go to one Linda Mcmahon campaign.

Leave it to Vince McMahon to profit off of someone’s near-fatal heart attack.

LAWLS well played by that kid….

  • TheSheepDog

Wow VKM again not missing a beat by selling shirts regarding Kings heart attack, i just hope some if not all of the proceeds are going to some kind of heart attack/disease prevention charity/research. After all, atm would boost wwe PR even more, givien the breast cancer trust they are backing.
