As we noted before, WWE revealed that the former World Champion Randy Orton underwent a knee surgery recently and this is the reason why he hasn’t wrestled since Backlash.
However, while it was revealed that Orton needed the surgery since 2017, no details were given about his recovery or how long he will be out of action.
Now Wrestling Observer has revealed some information on his rehab, revealing that the Viper is expected to stay out of action for almost 2 months.
This will put him back in action just in time for the buildup of his SummerSlam feud and it would be interesting to see what the company has in plan for Randy upon his return.
Though since the company has yet to release any official statement on his recovery, it’s possible that they’ll try to work it and give fans a false timeframe to add the surprise element to his return.
