Huge rumored Brock Lesnar match not in plans

Brock Lesnar

There have been a lot of rumors revolving around Brock Lesnar in the recent times and one of them is that WWE is planning a match between Lesnar and Bobby Lashley somewhere down the line.

However, it appears that these rumours are false and fans who want to see this bout between the members of the Raw roster will be disappointed.

Dave Meltzer revealed on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter that currently there are no plans for the Universal Champion to face Lashley.

Continuing on the topic, Meltzer speculated that if Brock is really leaving the company for UFC then the Officials could get two loses out of him – one a title loss and the other being to put someone over.

And the general belief is that if Lesnar can put someone over on his way out, it shouldn’t be a 40-year-old part-time star who would receive limited benefit from the win.

AJ kept his belt at ‘Mania.

  • Arnold Jackson

I have to completely agree you brother.

  • Nicholas Giambattista

I meant that everybody though Brock Lesnar was dropping the Universal title at WM 34. But I do also see a few title change as well maybe some surprise here and there they look to be going all out of GRR.

  • Arnold Jackson

Never said Mania. It’s more likely they want to make a splash at this GRR event. Have a few title changes there. You know Hardy/Wyatt are getting titles. Having Brick lose there might be the thing they have in mind.

  • Nicholas Giambattista

No we don’t know he was suppose to lose at Wrestlemania 34. Plans has change. But you are probably right but either way Reigns will not have a long title run.

  • BB

Agreed. At this point I think he definitely needs it.

  • Arnold Jackson

I wish but we all know he is losing the title to Reigns. They will make it worse by having him lose to Cena on his way out. That’ll suck.

  • Nicholas Giambattista

Watch out for none other then Kevin Owens taking the Unverlasial Championship from Brock Lesnar.
