Huge title match announced for TLC pay-per-view

It was announced on Sunday’s Survivor Series pay-per-view that Seth Rollins will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Dean Ambrose at the TLC pay-per-view in four weeks.

Rollins, who defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a Champion vs Champion match at Survivor Series, received this news on the same show in a backstage interview.

Rollins said that it’s been a while since he and Ambrose went at it. He also went on to say that Ambrose has been hiding a lot after he backstabbed his SHIELD brothers but at TLC there won’t be anything to hide behind.

This booking makes no sense. Who did Ambrose beat to deserve a title match? Nobody, Ambrose hasn’t wrestled in three weeks. Did Rollins challenge him? Nope. I’m not against the match, but the title shouldn’t be on the line. Want Ambrose to be IC champ? Fine, I’m good with that. But have Rollins either be sick of Ambrose interfering in his matches, which Ambrose should be doing, or have Rollins just saying that he’s sick of Ambrose ducking him and challenge him to a match. Then when Ambrose wins at TLC, then you can do an IC title match either the next night on Raw or at the Rumble.
