Hulk Hogan Addresses Mickie James & Joey Ryan’s Status, How Old Is James Storm?

– A segment involving the TNA Knockouts and new authority figure Brooke Hogan was cut from Thursday’s live Impact Wrestling show. Mickie James acknowledged the change in plans on Twitter, writing, “I am so sorry, gang. Seems I have lied. I assure you not purposely! I will not be on the show tonight. Watching it live backstage. Enjoy!”

Hulk Hogan addressed James’ status with the organization in response to a follower complaining that Hogan would not put her on television with him in charge. He wrote, “Sorry u feel that way but Dixie has a whole battle plan laid out for Mickie.”

Angelina Love, Gail Kim, Madison Rayne, ODB, Rosita, Tara and Velvet Sky were also backstage but not used on the live show.

Hogan also commented on Gut Check judges not offering Joey Ryan a TNA Wrestling contract. He wrote, “Working on the Ryan situation now.”

– James Storm turns 35 years old Friday. He appeared in a taped segment on Thursday’s Impact Wrestling and would not say whether he’s returning to the ring.

@SYM maybe you’re a bit slow and didn’t read what I said. I didn’t say shit about his wrestling. If you can’t cut a promo in today’s world NOBODY is going to care. Perfect example …..John Morrison

@eric … how did Hogan and Flair show up on RAW the next day after WCW folded?
It took Flair something like 6 or 7 months before he returned to WWE and Hogan took something like eighteen months as he left before WCW went out of business.

Simple fact is, those two had no other choice at the time. If they wanted to continue to wrestle, all they had was the choice to wrestle in the big leagues and get the pay cheque they were used to, or go work the indy circuit for a fraction of their pay.

If TNA folded, would they return, of course they would if WWE showed any interest. And whether you love them or hate them, you could not blame either of them for wanting to get the kind of money they think they deserve.

SYM, Chris is a TNA Mark, but atleast he has a respectable arguement, you’re just stupid.

Alex Silva sucked, to be honest. He has potential, and since he’s only 22 years old, I see why they kept him. He has a lot of time to improve. Joey Ryan is already ready to go in the big time. He has the look, the charisma, and the in-ring talent. Taz said his pump-handle suplex was a D when he did it, that’s because it’s part of the storyline. I’ve never seen someone do a suplex variation of that sort. Ryan is unique in and out of the ring. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for him.

@eric suck a Nut. @cheesehandler u obviously didn’t see Joey Ryan perform. He was better than the 1st guy & ppl liked him including the TNA locker room.

  • poko

They were pretty obviously high on Ryan. This storyline is likely a push for him. I like it. Do people really think it was real, and not a part of the show?

The same way the WWE does. If they’re running short on time, they remove it from the schedule.

If its live how can they cut stuff out of it?!?!?!?

I bet when tna goes out business in a couple years. hogan will show up on raw next day! just like flair and hogan did when wc died in 2001. flair and hogan are like a couple lost cats or dogs always find there way back home!

i think i can see where this is going….i bet everyone that gets “cut” from gut check….hogan will work on the situation….LOL….like taz said…if thats your promo then hell no! not everyone is a star hogan.
