Hulk Hogan Files New Lawsuit Claiming $50 Million in Damages

Hulk Hogan has filed a lawsuit against the Tampa-based Laser Spine Institute, seeking $50 million in damages.

Hogan’s claim is that the clinic performed unnecessary surgeries on him and damaged his career. Hogan filed the suit Monday morning in Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Court under his real name, Terry Bollea.

The suit claims that “numerous prominent spine surgeons” recommended traditional spinal surgery, but that the Spine Institute told him that would effectively end his career. Bollea claims he was “the victim of multiple unnecessary endoscopic surgical procedures that further destabilized his already existing injured back.”

Hogan’s claim also noted that the Institute used him as an endorser without his permission or payment.
