So then that’s only half of the 1.3 billion. So that’s 65 million that came from the strength of the rock as a leading man in Hollywood. I don’t know the exact numbers but I have no doubt that’s 2 or 3 times the amount of money any wwe film or wrestler staring in the film has been able to draw. And how is doing a Disney move a bad thing? Who doesn’t look back fondly on there favorite Disney movie from there childhood.

To be fair though, most of that came in the past couple of years in major block-buster movies that would have grossed the same without him in the movies. The majority of his movies have been bad. However he is getting better as an actor and better material as well. I was particularly impressed with his acting in G.I. Joe.

Still, that 1.3 billion is inflated in terms of attributing it to “HIS” success.

Let me give you a number, half of that gross is from fast and furious, 1/4 is from his short appearances in movies, the other 1/4 is from disney movies, he left wwe to play a tooth fairy and to leach off of a already successful franchise like fast and furious

The Rock movies are bad had John Cena33 let me give you a number 1.3 billion in gross is what the Rock movies are worth. Tell me how that is bad if it is tell me what is good. The Rock is making more now in Hollywood then he ever had in Pro Wrestling. I am a wrestling fan but 1.3 billion in gross would change my whole outlook on life to. The Rock did what he had to do in wrestling and he left. Be thankful he come back for a few matches here and again.

Who would do a movie with Rock? most of his movies are bad and the only good one he was in was fast and furious franchise, only because it was a established movie.
