Hulk Hogan Reveals Post Surgery Wounds, Ratings For Impact & Reaction

— The Dec. 23 episode of TNA iMPACT! drew a 1.07 cable rating, with 1,403,000 viewers. The previous week’s show drew a 1.12.

— The Dec. 23 episode of TNA ReACTION scored a 0.59 cable rating, with 757,000 viewers. The previous full-hour show did a 0.5 cable rating, with 775,000 viewers.

— Hulk Hogan underwent nine hours of surgery last Tuesday for a problem with his spinal cord that had been plaguing him for the majority of the past year. The procedure required Hogan to have his spine rebuilt. He has been updating his Twitter followers about his condition, accompanied by a series of photos showing the surgery scars, with captions including, “This was my Christmas present”, and “I’m tired of being cut”.

    @will henderson noone is forcing hogan to wrestle or do angles on tv to take physical abuse. Hogan can walk away from tna and wrestling anytime he wants to.

    poor Hogan, this is just getting sad fast, whether you liked him or not, this man was a legend to this sport and helped it get to where it is today, and yet he’s getting closer to 60 and may end up in a wheel chair in 5 to 10 years from all the years of abuse of his back from entertaining us fans. i hope Hogan doesn’t do the stereotypical wrestler’s way out of life as in commit suicide or OD on drugs (which can be sometimes as a way to commit suicide). i feel bad for Hogan, this guy was a hero and a villain for most people. (mostly hero to those who were kids in the 80’s-1996 Pre-nWo heel turn).
