Hulk Hogan remains a free agent following the expiration of his contract with TNA Wrestling last month and the two parties being unable to reach a new agreement. This afternoon on Facebook, the legendary grappler teased a possible return to WWE by publishing a photo of himself clutching a replica copy of the WWE Championship. His caption reads, “Thinkin, thinkin, thinkin. HH.”

It was reported last week by PWInsider.com that the 60-year-old has been “training like a mad man” in hopes of wrestling again for WWE.

Hogan returning to the promotion could hinge on Triple H, who is leaving the door open for his return to the sports-entertainment organization. The six-time WWE Champion told the Associated Press earlier this month that he was warmly received by Vince McMahon’s son-in-law at a recent charity function.

“He just welcomed me with open arms. He said if ever I decide I get the itch to come back home,” the door’s open,” Hogan stated.

The way John Cena beat Alberto Del Rio at the paperview Hell In A Cell was amazing but what was more amazing was how he beat Damien Sandow on WWE RAW after he got bashed and stuffed his arm up after he got jumped before the match and was forced to defend the World Heavyweight Championship and some how found a way to beat Damien Sandow and defend the World Heavyweight championship with 1 arm. What a machine John Cena is, The Cenanator.

    He will be back.

i heard they might do nwo vs shield but still can he not let go of the limelight and retire and stay gone

It would be huge if Hogan has to be the one to come to the rescue for Vince after all that has happened. No matter what they choose to do, fans are gonna go ape when Hogan steps out from the Gorilla position.

  • D2K

While it would be useful to have him with limited ring action, a match like that would not be worth bringing him back for.

On a side note, I think they bring Batista back and reform Evolution. Flair’s still on contract and Trips is all palsy-walsy with Orton again.

It would be a safe match. Easy money and less change Hogan gets seriously hurt. At this point the only person I’d care to see Hogan in the ring with would Cena or Austin and the latter ain’t gonna happen. So I’d take a Cena/Hogan. Keep Cena out of the title picture.

Vince is smart, he booked Hogan vs Rock, so I think he will book Cena vs Hogan.

  • Minstrel_Period

Maybe you want that, but… Vince…

You will get Hogan coming out against CM Punk, then the next week onward, Hogan will feud with 3MB, and Real Americans. After Hogan vs Zeb Coulter, it will be Hogan vs Fandango. Then Hogan vs Ryback. Then Hogan vs Curtis Axel. Hogan vs Paul Heyman.

After a bad return, Hogan will win the Royal Rumble and face Taker at Mania with no lead in storyline.

If Hogan comes back the match is simple, Cena vs Hogan.

Hogan goes from I can’t wrestle anymore to I’m training to return to the ring on a monthly basis. Somehow I think he’s going back to TNA, but if he does make a WWE return I’d have him team with John Cena at Wrestlemania w/ Vince in their corner in a Tag Match against Triple H and Randy Orton w/Stephanie

  • Pissed Off Fan =(

I would not be surprised if they did something where Hogan was involved with a storyline for WM30. Somehow, they will have him in that rumored HHH/Vince fued thing
