One of the most anticipated mysteries going into WrestleMania 34 was who will be revealed as Braun Strowman’s partner with over half a dozen names being rumored for the spot.
However, a lot of people weren’t pleased with the fact that after building the storyline for weeks, Strowman’s partner ended up being a seemingly random kid the Monster chose from the crowd.
Now Bodyslam.net has revealed that Braun’s partner wasn’t really a random kid and the boy who was dubbed as Nicholas is actually the son of WWE Official John Cone.
No word yet on if the company had planned this angle to play like this all along or if they were forced to change their plans in last minute due to any complications.
Where this storyline will head next is not known either although since the boy is related to a WWE official, we can expect him to make more appearances on WWE TV and it wouldn’t be a surprise if these two end up having an actual reign as the Raw tag champs instead of dropping the title soon.
