It seems that Impact Wrestling has signed yet another Lucha Underground Talent. “The Machine” Brian Cage, former Gift of the Gods Champion, has signed with the company as of January 11th. He joins Johnny Impact, Taya Valkyrie, and Sami Callahan as current Lucha Underground that has signed with Impact.

Cage worked two matches at the tapings in Orlando, defeating enhancement talent. This isn’t the first time he has worked with Impact. The Machine worked a handful of tryout matches in 2012 and 2013. He also appeared at their Destination X One Night Only special in 2014.
Cage has made quite a name for himself outside of Impact. Putting on great matches in Lucha Underground, the Machine feuded with stars like Prince Puma, Johnny Mundo (Impact) and Matanza Cueto. He’s also worked with AAA since 2015, where he had a bitter rivalry with former Impact wrestler Alberto El Patron.
