Impact Wrestling has been looking to branch out when it comes to streaming on the internet. As of today, they’ve taken another step in that direction, launching their own Twitch channel.
The Global Wrestling Network had a sloppy launch in 2017. While Impact, then GFW, announced its launch would happen in October, the site accidentally launched on September 12th.
The incident happened when developers were “tweaking the infrastructure.” For a day, anyone could access the site free of charge. Anthem quickly found out about this and shut down the site.
GWN officially launched on October 10th, and since its debut has added a huge archive of old TNA footage. Anthem has also worked out deals to provide content from the Fight Network, Border City Wrestling, Wrestling at the Chase, Rocky Mountain Pro, and DEFY among other promotions.
With the site finally in good shape, it seems that Anthem has decided to launch its own 24-hour streaming channel on Twitch.tv.
HUGE NEWS:
IMPACT Wrestling are launching a 24/7 channel on @Twitch that will have exclusive original content, monthly live events and house shows as well footage from the extensive IMPACT archive.
