– The August 4, 2011 episode of Impact Wrestling scored a 1.14 cable rating, down from 1.20 the prior week and 1.26 on July 21.

Impact averaged 1,436,000 viewers over the course of two hours, down 22 percent from 1,794,000 on July 21.

It’s worth noting that the season premiere of Jersey Shore on MTV drew 8.8 million viewers.

– Amazing Red’s profile has been removed from ImpactWrestling.com’s roster page, thus confirming his departure from TNA Wrestling. The former X Division cited creative differences for his departure from the organization Thursday on Twitter.

Sangriento, a masked character Red portrayed, is still listed on the roster page.

@venom: to show a comparison between the two shows.

And I agrre, that show is THE stupidest thing; those kids act like idiots, and get rewarded for it. It’s retarded.

  • Shaun

@Kyle, Ha, why thank you bud.

@CC Yeah, and WWE did the same by having Snooki’s dumbass at WM. I have absolutely no idea what the appeal is to people.

  • venom

I saw the Jersey Shore cast on Monday and I wanted to punch them in the face. lol. I don’t understand why that show is popular. Why is their ratings on a wrestling website???? TNA will probaby have Daniels wrestle as Sangriento.

  • CC

But the irony is that TNA obviously loves the show seeing as they tried to piggy back onto its success by having characters inspired by the show.

  • Kyle

@Shaun YOU KNOW WHAT…itottaly agree with that statement of truth

  • Shaun

Shame to see so many weak minds that actually keep up with Jersey Shore…One of the stupidest shows on television.
