Interesting Stat on Cesaro’s Title Shots, WWE Night of Champions Twitter Ratings, SmackDown

– Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, the final show before Night of Champions, drew 2.631 million viewers. This is down from last week’s 2.821 million viewers. SmackDown was the highest-rated original program on cable for Friday night.

 


 

– WWE’s Night of Champions pay-per-view was down in Nielsen’s new Twitter TV ratings, compared to last month’s SummerSlam pay-per-view. Night of Champions had a unique audience of 1.805 million users, which represents the number of Twitter accounts that commented on the show. That’s down from SummerSlam’s 2.806 million. Night of Champions had total tweet impressions of 14.655 million, which represents the number of times the show was tweeted about. Night of Champions was #1 for the night on the charts.

– Since losing the WWE United States Title to Kofi Kingston in April 2013, Cesaro has lost 10 straight title shots on WWE TV or pay-per-view. Cesaro lost to United States Champion Sheamus at Night of Champions last night.
