It appears that the former World Champion and Beer Money member James Storm is done with Impact Wrestling after their latest set of tapings.
He lost in a match against Dan Lambert during the latest tapings which had the stipulation that Storm would have to leave the company if he loses.
It’s worth mentioning here that this is the last set of Impact Tapings before James’ contract expires in January next year so it likely means that he has wrestled his final match for the company.
Storm had also hinted about his uncertain future during a recent media call saying that there may be a new door opening for him. Here is what he has said:
“There’s a lot that I can’t really talk about, but I always say: you never know what the future holds, There might be a new door opening, I don’t know. All I can do is work my butt off, get in the best shape I can, just show up to work and do what I’m told.”
Though so far neither James Storm nor Impact has released any statement on his status so we should wait for an official word from any of the parties.
