Jason Jordan’s injury reportedly forced WWE to change plans for Elimination Chamber

Jason Jordan

We noted before how Jason Jordan recently underwent a neck surgery and it appears that his injury has forced WWE to change the plans for the Men’s Elimination Chamber.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, both Seth Rollins and Jordan were originally penciled to be part of the upcoming Chamber match.

Their participation in the Chamber would have also helped to start the build of their planned match at WrestleMania. However, Jason’s injury not only put him but Rollins out of the bout as well.

Regarding their feud, Meltzer says that it’s ‘not a dead issue’. Although there is no word yet on how long the former American Alpha member will stay out of action so their match is still in jeopardy.

As noted before, WWE has announced a second chance Fatal Four-way qualifying match for the upcoming Raw episode which will see Matt Hardy, Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor and Apollo Crews competing for the final spot in the Elimination Chamber.

The scheduled change isn’t “that” serious.

  • Rob ‘Richard Hammond’ Picken

    Nobody cares

And WWE wonder why the fans get pissy when theyre just hand picking who they want to be “their guys” and ignoring the fans (Jason Jordan, roman reigns etc)

    none of this matters.
Roman is winning the chamber and beating Brock at Mania.
literally none of this talk matters.

Why the heck are they hanging on to this guy!? He was only worth a look with American Alpha but they screwed that up. Just release him already. Like anyone would care.

Don’t worry, nobody will miss Jordan in there… I still think Rollins should have been in there, what’s he going to do otherwise? Elias doesn’t belong, and as much as I like the Miz, I feel like he should be having his own singles match for the IC strap, or maybe the Miztourage vs Balor Club. Finn Balor makes sense but they may have plans for him with Balor Club. Would be interesting if both Matt and Bray were in it. No on Apollo Crews.
