Jason Jordan’s neck injury apparently worse than originally believed

Jason Jordan

Jason Jordan has been out of action for most of 2018, undergoing surgery in February to repair his neck, a procedure called posterior cervical microdiscectomy. After the surgery, it was expected that Jordan would be out for at least half a year, if not longer.

According to The Wrestling Observer, it seems that Jordan’s injury was more severe than doctors initially thought. It was reported that Jordan was on his way to an in-ring return soon, possibly reuniting with Chad Gable to reform American Alpha, which would have been a great addition to Raw’s tag team division.

However, it seems, for now, that Jason Jordan will be out of action for an undisclosed amount of time.

Hope it’s not career ending. I liked where he was going right before he got hurt. The heel who doesn’t know he’s a heel. Hope the kid has a speedy recovery

  • Yeah. I felt the same way. It started out horribly, but I had definitely gotten on board once they started teasing his heel turn.

When Jordan first started getting pushed last fall, I hated it because it was so bad and so poorly done. Then they started doing the heel who thinks he’s a face thing and had him team with Rollins and it got really good. Hopefully he doesn’t end up in the same vein as Magnum TA and Richie Steamboat.

There was no need to break up American Alpha in the first place..

It was only a few months ago it was reported he was backstage and ready to return that night … once again shows you the power of “insider” information.
