JBL Announces New Deal for Full Time WWE Return

John Bradshaw Layfield revealed on his Facebook page that he has reached a deal with WWE to return full time as a commentator on SmackDown.

“I will doing Smackdown with Josh Matthews,” JBL wrote. “I have filled in on Main Event some but mainly when Miz has a large part in the show and can’t do commentary.

“Raw is 100% Jerry’s. He and Michael are a great team, I enjoy listening to Jerry and there are no plans for a three man booth with me in it. I am happy on Smackdown.”

I’ve always loved JBLs commentary work. This is good for the Smackdown brand indeed. I just wish they would go live every Tuesday night instead of airing it taped on Fridays.

^hopefully they let JR stay on raw.

So it took Jerry having a heart attack just for WWE to realise what we knew all along…

    JBL is a commentary GOD!!

    P.S. Get well soon King.

This is terrific news. JBL is a natural.

I really hope they keep JR. I can’t stand face King on commentary.

  • Prince

He said there are no plans for a 3-man booth with him it. He said nothing about JR.

  • Bill

If JBL said that there are no plans for a 3 man team on Raw, that means… no JR………………………….. WHY VINCE, WHY?
