JBL on if The Undertaker is retired

Former WWE Champion JBL recently had an interview with Riju from Sportskeeda where he talked about a handful of WWE related topics. Below are some of the highlights from his interview:

When asked about his current status with WWE the former SmackDown Live commentator said that he is still part of the WWE Family:

“I’m still part of the WWE family which I’m thrilled about. I’ve been there for twenty-one years. I’ll still be going back for WrestleMania and Tribute to the Troops.”

When asked if the WrestleMania match against Roman Reigns was the final bout of the Undertaker, the former Champion said that he doesn’t know if it was Taker’s last match, but if it was, then it was an amazing way to go out:

“I don’t know if it was his last match. I met with him beforehand. He was the groomsman at my wedding. We are good friends. I know him very well Such a great character. I don’t know if it was his last match, and if it was, it was an amazing way to go out.”

Apart from this JBL also talked about their tour of Iraq and revealed some interesting stories about the Big Show.

  • Ottie Myer

JBL should’ve been shitcanned a long time ago.

  • Nicholas Giambattista

How many times is this question going to be ask. Heck his wife said it was over. He hardly made it through his last match it is over.

  • Nicholas Giambattista

Yep I miss JBL too. Him being hated makes him a great heel.

  • Kristopher Robinson

I do. I think that he was the best thing on Smackdown, for quite awhile.

  • ROB-1.

I do not miss JBL at all.

  • Kristopher Robinson

They could either play it off as he’s retired just from Mania or I would prefer they bring back the American Badass character for another short or one match run. But I liked them hat character, especially when he went heel.
