Jeff Cobb makes debut at tonight’s Ring of Honor tapings

Mr. Athletic himself made his debut at Ring of Honor’s TV tapings tonight. Jeff Cobb showed up to beat down F.R. Josie and Eli Isom who were in the middle of a Top Prospect Tournament match.

Cobb is perhaps best known as Lucha Underground’s resident monster, the former Lucha Underground Champion Matanza Cueto. As Matanza, he dominated LU for quite some time, winning the title in his first appearance for the company in an Aztec Warfare match.

Cobb also appeared for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Progress Wrestling, and had a brief stint in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. While in PWG, he won the PWG World Tag Team Championship with fellow Chosen Bros member Matt Riddle. Outside of professional wrestling, Cobb is a former Olympian, taking part in the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Matanza is good. Jeff Cobb, on the other hand, is fat. This guy needs to be covered up in something loose otherwise it just exposes the fact that he’s got about sixty pounds he needs to lose.
