Jeff Hardy reveals why he avoids using the Swanton Bomb at house shows

WWE United States Champion Jeff Hardy has often been the victim of injuries over the years, the wrestler, often known for his high spots is apparently working through an injury for quite some time now.

In a talk with the Canton Repository, the 40-year-old revealed that he is facing issues with his lower back currently, which is why he has stopped using the finisher at house shows.

Hardy is scheduled to defend his United States Championship against  Shinsuke Nakamura at Extreme Rules.

  • Fire hardy NOW!

I will, once he’s gone. I have zero respect for him or any of his fans.

  • Tom Newland

We get it. You don’t like Jeff Hardy. Get over it

  • Fire hardy NOW!

Not at all, I’m saying his stuff looks stupid and not at all like wrestling. I really enjoy Lucha Underground, meth hardy’s stuff can’t even compare. He might as well just be climbing to the top rope and falling on people. He is overrated, has a stupid look, and should never have had any success apart from tag wrestling. His “hardiac arrest” move is stupid. Poetry in Motion is dumb. His Whisper in the Wind is stupid. His double leg drop to the gut is stupid. The man has no psychology. He has never applied a single submission hold to my knowledge and I have watched for the last twenty years. He’s not a poet. He’s not an artist. He’s a terrible promo. His glow in the dark bullcrap TNA titles were stupid. His face paint is ridiculous. His arm bands are stupid. He’s worn the same jeans for the last twenty years. And he needs to get rid of the stupid @$$ toilet paper sticking out of his back pocket. Him beating Umaga is one of the greatest travesties in booking in the last twenty years. On top of all that, the man should have served at least 12 years in prison for his drug offenses.

That is the most stupid comment I have ever seen. You’re probably the kind of guy who only consider technical and submission wrestling to be the only type of legitimate pro wrestling. High flying, power, brawling, hardcore, and many other styles are just as legitimate.

However abusing high flying moves can be dangerous for a wrestler’s long term health. That is why it is a good idea to learn OTHER wrestling moves. Like they say, less is more.

  • Mike the Ike

You mean the leg injury he suffered this spring? Or the shoulder injury from last fall/winter?

  • Kristopher Robinson

Didnt he just return from an injury?!

  • Fire hardy NOW!

And that’s why you learn wrestling moves instead of posing as a wrestler for a quarter of a century flipping around like a stupid circus performer.
