– As published on W-E, Jesse Sorensen was released from his TNA contract this past Monday, but did announce on his Facebook page last night he will make his first in-ring appearance tonight at an independent event in Tampa, Florida tonight for NWA Florida Underground.
TNA sources have said that Sorensen, although not medically cleared by his doctor, was adamant about returning to the ring, which was among the reasons he was released.
Tonight will see Sorensen competing for the first time since February 2012 when he suffered a broken C-1 vertebrae and herniated C-5 & C-6 discs in his back after being hit by Zema Ion during a dive to the outside, temporarily paralyzing himself.
