Jim Ross Clarifies Ric Flair’s Health Status, Wrestling Legend Returning To TV

— It was reported earlier that Ric Flair underwent rotator cuff surgery on his shoulder last Thursday after being written off television at TNA Lockdown. Jim Ross clarified the WWE Hall of Famer’s health status by stating that he did not undergo surgery.

Ross wrote Saturday, “While @ the gym yesterday got a text from ‘Naitch’ who was checking on my ‘wrestling’ status. BTW Ric has a horrid shoulder but no surgery.”

Taz, who stated on Thursday’s episode of TNA iMPACT! that Flair underwent surgery earlier that day, wrote on Twitter, “For those whom have asked, Mike & I were either given BAD info on RF Shoulder issue or RF status changed from Tues (TV), to this weekend.”

— Mick Foley is scheduled to return to television imminently.

— TNA Knockout Tara has been announced for AdventureCon, Tennessee’s Largest Pop Culture Collectors Show. The annual event takes place June 10-12 at the Knoxville Expo Center in Knoxville.

^^ and yet you say nothing about VKM rushing wrestlers, oh sorry entertainers back to soon like Taker who has the look of a 100 year old after each match for the past 5 yrs now.

This is how bad of a leader dixie is people have to get in trouble outside of ring or serious hurt to leave tna. Because let’s face it there is a reason mcmahon fired flair and force him to quit wrestling in 2008. because he is old fat and is not worth a dime at 70.

Sounds like a bunch of bullshit to me. I doubt Dixies mother has any interest in running a wrestling company on top of her other responsibilities.

Yea, I don’t believe the first poster.

i like a link to those stories ^

  • Wrestling-Edge is WAY behind on their news. It’s already being reported by many other sites that Foley turned down the offer to be the Network, and so TNA is in a bind searching for someone long term to take his spot. Also, it’s being reported that Dixie Carter stepped down as TNA President, and that her mother has taken over day to day operations with Eric Bischoff possibly taking over the company in the future.
