Jim Ross Q&A: Daniel Bryan or Eddie Guerrero?, WWE Network, Sting vs. HBK and More

– WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated his Q&A section on jrsbarbq.com. Here are some highlights:

What point do you think The Undertaker ‘made it’ and was regarded a big deal as he is today? I don’t think that it was one thing or one day but his body of work over time that helped him earn his amazing legacy. The Streak has become largely his claim to fame.

Who’s the better wrestler – Eddie Guerrero or Daniel Bryan? I won’t answer this because one is damned if one does and damned if one doesn’t. They are both different, both excellent and both stars. Eddie got his break and Bryan is working on his.

What are your thoughts on the WWE Network skipping Cable TV all together and instead focusing on making WWE.com and the WWE App a $19/month subscription service, which includes WWE’s full library, digital magazines, and a 24/7 WWE Network stream? Honestly, don’t know the particulars of the WWE Network except that it is going forward from all that I hear. I don’t know the template. I do hope that it works for all involved. It might give some older talents some re-occurring gigs.

Do you think Tito Santana was underrated? Tito was a great in ring talent. I don’t know who has underrated him. He was a star.

Thoughts on a dream match of Sting vs. Shawn Michaels? At the right place at the right time it would have been terrific. A main event. The ship’s sailed on that one or so I think.
