Jim Ross recently spoke highly of Braun Strowman, and it seems he sees big things in the future of another brawler on Monday Night Raw.
On The Jim Ross Report, JR continued to look into superstars who could be the top stars of the company and mentioned a certain Sinister Scotsman.
[Drew] McIntyre looks great. He sounds great, he’s in great condition, he’s just getting better and better. He’s a big time player. I could see, very easily, Drew McIntyre being a Universal or WWE Champion down the road.
Without a doubt, it’s a lay-up. Trust me on this one.
McIntyre has recently debuted on Raw, teaming up with Dolph Ziggler. The former NXT Champion has stated that he feels the roster has gotten soft.
It wouldn’t be shocking to see Drew McIntyre eventually capture one of the top prizes in the WWE. Even back in his first run, the company was high on him during his first few years with the company, even going so far as to have Vince McMahon personally endorse him on an episode of Smackdown.
With a more intense, no-nonsense version of McIntyre ready to run through the Raw roster, I’m sure it won’t be too long before he claims a title.
