Jim Ross Talks About When Samoa Joe Should Be Called Up And Over Saturation With WWE TV

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated the Q&A section on his website. Here are the highlights.

On lack of storytelling in matches: The trend is for more stunts, high spots and aerial oriented content largely because many of today’s younger wrestlers haven’t been taught the mat skills required to utilize holds and logical predicaments of which most fans can relate. It’s a tenuous trend that would appear to shorten careers as it drastically increases the amount of major bumps ones body is asked to withstand.

On if WWE has too much programming: Over saturation is an issue that all TV programmers have to be aware. If the product is good, it will matter less but if the product is not perceived as being good then over saturation is a distinct possibility.

On how long WWE should keep Samoa Joe as NXT Champion: Joe would stay champion until someone else was ready for the role/booking.
