Jimmy ‘Superfly’ Snuka and Dozens of Other Wrestlers Suing the WWE

Bloomberg is reporting that WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy ‘Superfly’ Snuka and ‘dozens’ of other former wrestlers, including Joseph Laurinaitis, a.k.a. Road Warrior Animal, Chris “King Kong Bundy” Pallies, and “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorf, and more former in-ring competitors that include referees.

WWE is being accused of hiding longterm effects of neurological injuries, the unwillingness to care for it’s talent’s repetitive head injuries “in any medically competent or meaningful manner,” and putting “corporate gain over its wrestlers’ health, safety and financial security, choosing to leave the plaintiffs severely injured and with no recourse to treat their damaged minds and bodies.”

Wrestling Inc. obtained a statement from WWE regarding the lawsuits, and it reads as follows:

“This is another ridiculous attempt by the same attorney who has previously filed class action lawsuits against WWE, both of which have been dismissed. A federal judge has already found that this lawyer made patently false allegations about WWE, and this is more of the same.”
