Jinder Mahal says his dream opponent is Brock Lesnar

Ever since becoming the WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal has become a media favourite and has given more than a dozen interviews to various sites. In the string, he recently spoke up with Sportskeeda and answered some interesting questions.

When asked about who he sees as his biggest competitor in WWE, The WWE Champion said that Randy Orton is, at the moment, his competitor but he sees John Cena as a threat too when he returns:

“At the moment it is Randy Orton, but, I see John Cena – when he returns – as my biggest competition. I have the WWE Championship, which means I’m the face of WWE, and for a long time John Cena is the face of WWE, and I know he’s not going to give up that title as the face of WWE anytime soon.”

When asked about his dream opponent, Mahal claimed that his dream opponent is none other than the current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar:

“I think my dream opponent is Brock Lesnar. Imagine that match – Champion vs Champion, WWE Champion vs Universal Champion. He is my dream opponent because if I can knock off Brock Lesnar that would truly solidify me… I’m the best and let the world know that the WWE Champion is better than Universal Champion.”

It’s worth noticing that John Cena is expected to return to WWE very soon and it’d be interesting to see if he does go after Jinder Mahal and his WWE Championship when he returns.
