Jinder Mahal Talks About His WWE Release, WWE DVD Pushed Back, The Fink, Birthdays

– WWE Hall of Famer JJ Dillon turns 72 years old today while former WCW Tag Team Champion Mark Jindrak turns 37, former WWE announcer Matt Striker turns 40 and former WWE wrestler and legendary trainer “Pretty Boy” Larry Sharpe turns 63.

– WrestlingDVDNews.com reports that the 2014 WWE SummerSlam DVD has been pushed back from September 2nd to September 16th.

– As noted, former WWE star Jinder Mahal is now using the name Raj Singh on the indies. He and former 3MB partner Drew McIntyre (Galloway) are taking bookings together. Jinder recently spoke with Slam Wrestling about his future and commented on his WWE departure:

“I was surprised, because we were pretty well booked on everything. We were on a lot of the live events, a lot of the overseas tours. We were always on Raw and Smackdown, and if we weren’t, we would do Superstars or Main Event in the week. So yeah, I was surprised.”
