John Cena Lands Another Big Movie Role, Expected to Take More Time Off

According to a report from Deadline, Universal has approved production for Point Grey Pictures’ The Pact. The movie is set to hit theaters on April 20th, 2018 and stars John Cena, Leslie Mann and Ike Barinholtz in leading roles.

Variety’s synopsis of the film describes it as “three parents who, upon discovering that their daughters have made a pact to lose their virginities on prom night, go out and try and stop them before it’s too late.”  No date has been given for when filming begins, however, it can be expected that Cena will need a lengthy amount of time off for the project.

Well if it is going to be shown then, they will have to start filming pretty soon. Cena will do Mania but I’d guess he will be gone for awhile after that. Heck maybe that’s why the Taker is doing a run, to cover those Cena dates. I don’t see this Taker run lasting more than 6 months with limited dates, mainly on tv days.

    It’ll tank.

No Seth Rogen? Shocking. 4/20 2018, not so much. Cena taking time off for movies, everybody guessed that.
