John Cena is now WWE’s highest paid wrestler

You might not be able to see him, but you can get a glimpse of his bank account. According to Forbes, John Cena racked up $10 million last year, more than any WWE superstar on the roster.

The leader of the Cenation has now taken the top spot from Brock Lesnar, who made $6.5 million. The top ten are as followed:

  1.  John Cena- $10 Million
  2.  Brock Lesnar- $6.5 Million
  3.  Roman Reigns- $4.3 Million
  4.  AJ Styles- $3.5 Million
  5. Triple H- $3.2 Million
  6.  Randy Orton- $2.9 Million
  7.  Seth Rollins- $2.7 Million
  8.  The Undertaker- $2.5 Million
  9.  Dean Ambrose- $2.2 Million
  10.  Kevin Owens- $2 Million

The top four, honestly, makes a lot of sense. The highest paid stars in the WWE are the two top champions, AJ Styles (WWE Champion) and Brock Lesnar (Universal Champion), along with the face of the company, John Cena, and the future face of the company, Roman Reigns.

Now, as of this moment, John Cena does not have a match scheduled for the Showcase of Immortals, as we are awaiting the response of The Undertaker. If the Deadman says no, it seems that Big Match John will be content to sit ringside with some popcorn and a beer and enjoy the show. And with pay like that, I can’t blame him.
