John Cena has been away from the WWE for quite some time and hasn’t wrestled his last match since Super Show-Down. The 16-time World Champion has been busy promoting his upcoming film Bumblebee but plans to be back soon.
However, his return won’t be televised, apparently. While speaking to the Toronto Sun, Cena revealed that his next set of shows for the WWE will be primarily house shows.
None of these shows are televised. I’m literally just doing it because I want to get back to a place I feel most comfortable and to working with people I can call my family. And I want to have some fun.
Cena will return to the company beginning on December 26th when the WWE makes its way back to Madison Square Garden.
