John Cena’s next two movie roles revealed

John Cena’s career outside of the WWE is on a rise. Appearing in several Hollywood films, the 16-time champion has proven that he has that same crossover potential that the Rock possessed back in the early 2000’s.

Cena’s latest film, Blockers, has gotten mostly positive reviews, with a certified fresh 91% on Rotten Tomatoes. It seems his star will continue to rise, as Cena plans to star in the Duke Nukem film.

The film’s producer Andrew Form confirmed today via Cinema Blend that John Cena is currently slated to play the video game’s catchphrase spewing main character. At this moment, there is no official script, quote Form:

Yeah, that’s what we’re working with now. We don’t have a script yet, so taht is confirmed at this point but if he [Cena] reads the script and he doesn’t like it, I’m sure there’s ways that he could pull out, but right now he’s our guy.

Cena had claimed that he wanted to be a part of the film since it was announced back in 2017.

That isn’t the only movie that the leader of the Cenation is working on, as it was revealed today by Robert Downey, Jr that he would be a part of the new “Dr. Doolittle” film.

John Cena has become a huge star on the silver screen, and it seems that he’s found his next path once his WWE career is over.
