We noted before how John Cena was added to a number of upcoming WWE events, and he is expected to return to the ring at the upcoming Madison Square Garden Live Event tonight.
Originally Cena was only expected to be part of Live Events, and the Cenation Leader himself had claimed that he wouldn’t be returning to WWE TV, but things have changed since then.
Last week Vince McMahon announced that they will be shaking things up and later the company confirmed that Cena will indeed be returning to WWE Programming in near future.
And during the latest episode of SmackDown Live, the company confirmed his return date as well and revealed that the 16-time world champion will be a part of next week’s episode of SmackDown Live.
Now it’d be interesting to see if John announces his entry into the Royal Rumble during his return as many are still sceptic about him being part of the show due to his movie schedule
