– We noted before that word from TNA’s recent UK tour was that Kurt Angle got into a backstage argument with “Big” John Gaburick over creative issues and the fact Angle was working against doctor’s orders. Angle has since denied those reports.
Gaburick got into it backstage with another TNA veteran – Eric Young. After the Monster’s Ball match against Abyss that airs on this week’s Impact Wrestling, Young was laid out by Abyss and stayed down in the ring to sell the attack. When he returned backstage, Gaburick gave Young “the business” and told him he took too long, and that he should have gotten out of the ring quicker because they had other segments to tape.
Young, who is well liked and rarely outspoken, reportedly gave Gaburick an earful. It was described as a situation where Young was venting frustration. The two had a discussion about what happened, then it was over and done.
