John Morrison To Wrestle Match In The United States, Injury Update On Layla

— John Morrison and Melina are advertised to wrestle for Northeast Wrestling in March.

 


 

Morrison will take on Finlay in his first match in the United States since parting ways with WWE on March 23 at the Mid Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. He is also advertised to compete the following night at Crosby High School in Waterbury, Connecticut. Meanwhile, Melina’s opponents have not been determined. She is advertised as “will be in action.”

— Layla and WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter appeared on WQAM in Miami, Florida Friday promoting WrestleMania. Layla, who has been sidelined since May due to tears of both her Anterior cruciate and Medial collateral ligaments, said she expects to return to the squared circle in time for the event. She also said she hopes the Miami Heat Dancers perform at WrestleMania, in which case she can appear as a guest dancer, but that she’ll probably be wrestling instead.
