Jonathan Coachman came back to the WWE earlier this year, replacing Booker T on the January 29th edition of Monday Night RAW. Coachman worked on the Red Brand’s commentary team alongside Corey Graves and Michael Cole for a little over seven months before being replaced by Renee Young on September 10th.
Since then, the Coach has been named the new host for WWE PPV Kickoff shows. However, he also revealed on Twitter that there are big things in the future for him and the WWE.
I am doing ppv pre shows and other special projects. Trust me I will be on plenty. A lot of changes in the next year. Think big. https://t.co/AQQIjnfLCk

We’re not sure of what Coachman’s special projects are, but it’s good to see that he wasn’t brought back just to be immediately demoted half a year later.
