– Josh Thomson tweeted that he will fight on the Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum event. While no opponent has been named as of yet, it is strongly rumored that he will fight Lyle Beerbohm or Vitor Riberio, depending on the health
of Beerbohm’s shoulder. Thomson last competed at Strikeforce: Evolution in December 2009 where he lost the Strikeforce Lightweight title to Gilbert Melendez by unanimous decision. Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum is scheduled for June 26 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. The main card will air live on Showtime.
