The winner of Mae Young Classic Tournament Kairi Sane recently had an interview with NBC Sports. Below are some of the highlights from her latest interview:
When asked about her reaction to winning the 32 Women Tournament this past Tuesday night, Kairi said that she felt very proud of herself:
“I was very proud of myself to be there as one of the finalists. It was surprising that I made it so far. I felt nervous, but it was such a happy day for me.”
Sane who is a well-known Japanese star was asked about the difference between working in front of Japanese and American audience, replying to which she said that American fans make her happier:
“I have to say American fans make me happier. I love their reactions. It’s very exciting and fun. It’s as if they’re fighting together with me.”
Apart from this, Kairi Sane also spoke up about coming up with different variations of her elbow drop and more.
