We noted before how former World Champion and WWE Star Kane aka Glenn Jacobs won the election and was elected the Mayor of Knox County Tennessee.
After his win, many people have been wondering if the Big Red Monster will show up on WWE Programming in upcoming future while still being the Mayor of Knox County.
During his recent interview with Rolling Stone, The former Champion was asked this question and answering it, Kane said that he will not rule out making special appearances for the company every now and then:
“WWE is always going to be part of me and hopefully I’ll always be part of it, I haven’t ruled out making special appearances every now and then. My main priority is being mayor, of course. [My role in the WWE] does bring a lot of attention to Knox County, so that’s cool. It’s just a matter of making sure everything I do — WWE or any other outside stuff — does not impact my role as mayor.”
While Kane has been working a lighter WWE schedule, he has still been part of some important matches this year and after his comments, we can expect him to return to ring sometime down the line.
