As previously reported, Kenny Omega officially announced his departure from NJPW yesterday. Rumors have been circulating for a while now as to where he would end up. Some of the rumors indicated that Kenny might just sign with WWE, as he reportedly received a lucrative offer and WWE did all they could to sign him.
However, it seems that Kenny will not be going to WWE. In fact, he might be signing with the newly-formed All Elite Wrestling.
According to Bodyslam.net, Kenny Omega had turned down WWE’s offer when he went to personally meet them and has signed with All Elite Wrestling. This is what BodySlam’s source said:
“Well Kenny is going to AEW. Yea. He literally just told me.”
This might actually be happening, as Kenny going to AEW was teased on the latest episode of Being The Elite. Perhaps this will be announced during AEW’s rally in Jacksonville. We will have to wait and see what happens till then.
