Kevin Owens wasn’t so much in a war with Braun Strowman over the summer as much as he was tormented by the man. Strowman stalked, harassed, and bullied Owens for months, leading to multiple nights where KO begged the Monster Among Men to leave him alone.
During an interview with Inside the Ropes, the former Universal Champion revealed his appreciation and admiration for Strowman, even if he was on the losing end of their feud.
For a guy who’s been doing this for three years, and had maybe five matches before he showed up at SummerSlam (2015) making his debut. For a guy that big, he’s pretty incredible. His progression has been unbelievable.
Owens has enjoyed working with the Monster Among Men, even if he’s not as experienced as others in the company.
He’s still 300 and something pounds. He’s six feet eight inches. Everything he does hurts. That part of it’s a bit rough, but it’s what we do.
But it’s been cool and people seem to enjoy what we’re doing. That’s really all that matters in the end.
