– A rumor was going around about WWE doing Kevin Owens vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32, but sources say that Vince McMahon is not interested in doing that as he already has his mind set on The Undertaker’s match for WrestleMania. As noted, it will not be against Sting.

– WWE has purposely booked SmackDown as a lame duck show until it moves to USA Network in January. The mentality right now is to put a heavier emphasis on the show when it moves to the USA Network with angles on Raw that carry over to Smackdown and vice versa.
Thus the reason SmackDown has felt less important these days and the show is a placeholder until Raw airs on Monday.
