For the wrestling fans who have been watching Killian Dain, AKA Damian O’Connor and Big Damo, they may have been a little shocked when viewing the latest episode of Smackdown Live.
This past Tuesday, SAnitY took on the #1 Contenders for the Smackdown Tag Team Championships, the New Day. Fans quickly noticed the new gear for Killian Dain, who was now wearing a singlet.
This isn’t the first time Dain had worn a singlet in his career but is more known for wearing a pair of trunks, and fans were not happy with this change.
WWE’s creative team, specifically Road Dogg, was plagued by tweets bashing them for forcing Dain to wear the singlet. However, the Hound of Ulster revealed on Twitter that it was his idea to change his ring gear up.
