Another Knockout On Her Way Out Of TNA?, Tessmacher Goes To The Arcade

– In a sign that Winter could be departing TNA Wrestling in the near future, the sparingly seen Knockout is advertised to appear on iPPV for Pro Wrestling Syndicate’s subsidiary female promotion, B.L.O.W. Wrestling, on October 11—event taking place at the Rahway Recreation Center in Rahway, New Jersey. Though contracted TNA Wrestling talent are permitted to appear for independent wrestling promotions, they are prohibited from appearing on shows which are broadcast.

The British wrestling standout’s role in TNA has been greatly deemphasized since Bruce Prichard took over the creative reins in October as she has been sparingly used and has yet to return to the title scene. Her last television appearance took place over four months ago on April 6. She has competed for independent groups in the meantime.

Honestly, I think it’s pretty cool that TNA is slowly bringing new talent & letting old talent go. I mean, I like the Dudleys, but the don’t really need TNA. Some of these younger guys really NEED this kind of TV exposure & it’s good that TNA is getting fresher.

I don’t know how much input he’s had, but it’s hard to deny that the TNA product has improved since Prichard arrived.

I think they’re trying to get control of their budget so they can sign some up-and-coming talent for the X Division. That would fit in with what Dixie said earlier this year. And, honestly, I would rather they sign new talent than give big dollars to older performers. I think they’re trying to NOT be the WCW, which gave inflated contracts to guys because they were big names rather than based on their real worth in the long run.

It’s a shame to lose performers like Bully Ray and Alex Shelley, but if that means they can bring in someone like Kenny King or Joey Ryan, then I can live with that.

TNA isn’t the WWE, they can’t afford to carry a huge roster. Bringing in new blood probably will mean letting old blood go, or at least offering them lesser contracts.

Shawn O B has a point, they did just get rid of Vince Russo and they still have Bischoff and we all know how they like to spend money.

i think its because of pay cuts. it could happen.

I honestly think Bruce Prichard was sent from Vince McMahon to sabotage TNA. Prichard has let so many great talents go from Alex Shelley, to the Beautiful People, and now possibly Bully Ray & Reverend D-Von. TNA should get rid of Prichard pronto.
