Kofi Kingston wants to hold every championship in the WWE

Kofi Kingston recently became the longest reigning Tag Team Champion in the history of the WWE. The Boom Squad General has amassed quite a collection of gold while in the company, holding tag team gold eight times, the Intercontinental Championship four times, and the United States Championship three times. However, that’s not enough for Kingston.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Kingston revealed that he still plans to hold every title in the WWE.

When I was a kid, my goal was to hold every single title in WWE. So I feel like I’m well on my way there, but there are obviously a couple that have eluded me, so that’s definitely a goal.

To have been here for so long, especially with the New Day, I want to make sure I’m doing everything I can to make sure that the group is elevated. From the jump-off that’s what we’ve been about and we just want to keep getting better. It’s a really cool thing.

At this point, Kingston only needs to hold the WWE and Universal Championships to meet his goal. However, they’re not exactly handing those out, and some feel that his best chance for a world title was back in the late 2000’s with his Randy Orton feud.

Is it too late for Kofi Kingston to capture the big titles in the WWE? Would you like to see him become a Grand Slam Champion?
